How to Enable Full Screen for FLV Player on PowerPoint

Players like Windows Media Player include the full screen function in the desktop version. While inserting video to PowerPoint, the full screen option is disabled by default. However, it could be set as active to show video in full screen.

To enable the full screen function, just right click on the window media player after inserting and choose True for the fullScreen option. It is then active when you double click on the video section of Windows Media Player on Slide.

To enable full screen for FLV player on PowerPoint, the most important step is to add full screen function to the FLV player. Here are the steps to add full screen button to custom FLV player. The quick process to create custom player with Moyea PlayerBox is choosing a template from the first launch window.

Generally the full screen button is included. If you are not sure if the full screen button is loaded, use the shortcut Ctrl + F and find Full Screen Button in the Find Control window. There should be Full screen button on the list if it is included.

If there is no Full Screen Button on the type of list, click Cancel to close the Find Control Window. Click the Button icon under the Control Library, and find Full Screen Button. Drag and drop the style you want to the edit box.

Most of the controls in SWF file are supported in PowerPoint slideshow. For example, you can have playlist on the FLV player to play several videos. Of course, your FLV videos should be placed to the folder that the FLV player would recognize. You can enable the function to hide playlist with the hide playlist button on the player, or even determine not to show this button by deleting it while customizing player.

To enable PowerPoint with Flash video playing, you may add Shockwave Flash Object. For PowerPoint 97/2000/2003/XP user, choose View > Toolbox > Visual Basic > Control Tool > More Control > Shockwave Flash Object.

For PowerPoint 2007 user, choose Customize Quick Access Toolbar > More Commands > Popular > Sow Developer tab in Ribbon, go to Developer tab and choose More Controls from the Controls section, choose Shockwave Flash Object in the pop-up More Controls window. Below are the screenshots for PowerPoint 2007.

Draw a rectangle, right click on the rectangle and find AllowFullScreen, type "true" instead of "false".

Note: Enter the player file name with extension if the player .swf file is in the same folder as the .ppt file.
