How to Connect Video and Web Player with Publishing wizard

The Publishing wizard can be used while you are running the main interface of Moyea PlayerBox, or just running Moyea Publishing Wizard by clicking the default desktop shortcut. With the Publishing wizard, you can connect video and web player step by step in ease. Here is the complete guide for running the wizard separately in 6 steps.


1. Run Moyea Publishing Wizard

2. Add player skin

3. Add video

4. Set player output

5. Start exporting

6. Choose operation


To run the publishing wizard from the main interface, just click the Publish button oon Toolbar, or choose Export > Publish from the main menu, or press Ctrl + P on keyboard. Then go to straight to Step 3.


1. Run Moyea Publishing Wizard.

You can run the wizard from desktop icon if you do not uncheck the box to create desktop icon when installing the program. You can also go to Start > All Programs > Moyea > PlayerBox > Moyea Publishing Wizard to run the wizard.


2. Add player skin.

You will face the following Moyea Publishing Wizard window to add player skin. On the left of the window is the section for you to select player skin. You can select the default template project from Templates category, or load the recently used skin or template from the Recent category, or just click More to browse project file or skin file.
When a project or skin is loaded, you can see the sample image from the preview panel on the right, and the related file path of the project or skin will display on the Source File section.



Click Next button on the bottom-right corner to confirm loading the player skin. You can go back to this interface to change player skin even after you get to the next step.


3. Add video.


Currently, only FLV video is supported in Moyea Publishing Wizard. You can add FLV video from folder on your machine or intranet, and add direct FLV URL with HTTP and RTMP protocol.

You will face the following window after clicking the Next button on the window to load skin file.


 

If you add a player skin without playlist, you can only add one Flash video.


Two options are available:


Add Video:If you have the FLV video on local machine, click the Add Video button and browse an FLV video.

Add URL:Click the Add URL button if you have the URL for the direct FLV video. Enter the URL when you face the Add URL window and click Add button to load URL.

Please note that the Caption column is for player with playlist to display item name. The Caption for player without playlist is empty as no character will display on the player.


If you add a player skin with playlist, you can add videos in 4 ways.



To add videos from folder on local machine or intranet with default settingslike file name as caption, auto thumbnail, just click the first Add Video button and select multiple files, then click Open button.


To add videos with URL one by one with custom settings caption, thumbnail, just click the Add URL button and you will face the following Add URL window to specify each video. After you click Add button, the video information will be added to the video list, and the Add URL window will be closed.



To add video from Moyea Media, you can load FLV video on existing playlist with related settings. Moyea Media is the favorite folder that you add to Moyea FLV Player that is bundled with the program. You will face the following Moyea Media Favorite window when clicking the Add from Moyea Media button .



The playlist is empty if you don't add favorite via the bundled Moyea FLV Player. You can click the Open FLV Player button to run Moyea FLV Player and organize the Favorite, or click a playlist and click the Open FLV Player button to edit the selected playlist via Moyea FLV Player.

 

To use videos from the recent playlist file, just click the Recent button on the right of the window and the playlist file path will be displayed for you to choose. Please note that using this method will change the video items on the list to the items on the playlist file.


To change the caption, just click on the related line on the Caption column, and the character string will be highlighted. After typing the new caption, press the Enter key on keyboard to save the change


To organize the rank/sequence of the videos, just select the video you want to change ranking and click the move up button or move down button on the top-right corner. To delete one file, just select the file name and click the Delete button. To clear the video list without any file, click the Clear button.


4. Set player output.


Under the video list, you can change export settings like the first image for player, the video play mode and export file path.



  1. The First image option to show image on video component or not.

  2. Choose None, if you don't want the have image shown on the player before it is started to play.
    Choose Auto thumbnail, if you have FLV file on local machine loaded, or have the local FLV file loaded with first rank on playlist.
    Choose Customize, if you want to load a local image in JPG format. When loading an image from local machine, the file name of the file will be coded to the output SWF.

    There are 5 options under the Play Mode drop-down list: SinglePlay, OrderPlay, RepeatAll, RepeatOne and RandomAll. For player without playlist, the Play Mode is grayed out as the Play Mode is only for player with playlist.

    For player with playlist, the options work as follow:

    SinglePlay is to play one video when the play button is clicked.
    OrderPlay is to play videos in order according to the video sequence on the list.
    RepeatAll is to play and repeat all videos in order.
    RepeatOne is to play and repeat one video.
    RandomAll, also known as Shuffle, is to play video randomly without particular order.

    The Export Path is the parent folder to output files. Click the folder button on the right to change the Export Path. The Export Name is to define the export folder name, which contains the output files, and to define the exact file name for output files like SWF FLV player (.swf) and HTM file (.htm).

    Please note that characters like \ / : * ? " | < > are not supported for file name.

 


5. Start exporting


Click the Next button on the Import Video(s) window, and you will face the Export window with output file name listed.



Click the Publish button on the bottom-right corner to start exporting files. You will notice the process bar for each file and the process bar for total exporting.


6.Choose operation


  1. After the files are exported, you will face the following window with quick click for the possible actions.
